Submission of duplicate or redundant manuscripts

Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before. The manuscript represents original and valid work and that neither manuscript nor one with substantially similar content has been published or is being considered for publication elsewhere.

Duplicate Reports That May Be Acceptable includes:

  • Summaries or Abstracts of Findings Reported in Conference Proceedings
  • News Media Reports of Authors’ Findings
  • Fragments or Sequential Reports of Studies
  • Detailed Reports Previously Distributed to a Narrow Audience
  • Short Reports in Print and Longer, More Detailed Reports Online
  • Executive Summaries
  • Reports From Government Documents or Reports in the Public Domain
  • Translations of Reports in Another Language; Translated Articles or Same-Language Articles Republished in a Journal’s International Edition

Submitted manuscripts will be screened to detect and prevent plagiarism. Plagiarism, including duplicate publication of the author’s own work, in whole or in part without proper citation is not tolerated by the Journal. Authors have to take responsibility for any plagiarism presented in their article.
